Carolyn is a Pension Plan Administrator and a recent addition to the B&B Benefits Administration, Inc. Staff. As an Administrator for the 401(k) , Profit Sharing Plans and Defined Benefit Pension Plans she is responsible for maintaining accurate records relating to the proper operation of these qualified retirement plans. Theses duties include preparation of plan documents, preparation of client’s pension plan tax returns, annual reconciliation of Trust Accounting, review of client census information, maintain compliance with IRS and other reporting agencies, track all distributions, loans and deposits and prepare all workpapers for large plan audits.
She prides herself in focusing on the details of her work and having the background of being an accountant gives her that extra edge. Constant client contact is essential and Carolyn has an easy going manner which gives her a very good rapport with clients.
She joined our team after working the past 10 years as an Administrator in a small local firm. Her prior experience as a CPA an owner of her own Tax Practice along with the experience of being an IRS Agent gives her an insight into the accounting and compliance aspect of Plan Administration. Carolyn is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin with a degree in accounting and then relocated to California making it her permanent home. |
